Oh, I forgot, we finally saw Happy Feet! So cute. It weirded us off a bit that Mumble retained his hatchling plumage for the whole movie, but it helped that he seemed to be losing his fluff by the end. I understand why they did it kinda, but giant babies are just... not right. I can also see why the
Rimmers went "OMG OH NOES LIBERAL AGENDA!" as it has both an individuality and environmentalist message, which I think is lovely. I do not think it was anti-Christian, but it WAS anti-fundamentalist. Which in my book is more than appropriate for kids. The Adelie Amigos were freaking adorable! <3 And it felt good to hear Steve Irwin's voice, even briefly... they have an extra on there where he voiced an albatross too, so cute <3 We miss you Steve.
I dreamt last night that we took in another reptile, although I think this one was a lizard. Bigger than Cleo, so maybe a moniter of some kind? Although I'm fairly sure whatever it was didn't exist in nature. We had it in a pen, and it was cute and tame but it's poo was Guinness worthy. :P That's all I remember.
Here's a nice step forward!
Transgender and "other" are now included on some college's application forms. :) I'm being optimistic and assuming they aren't using this to discriminate and are really just being inclusive. That's awesome. And speaking of which, if anybody knows anybody who's interested in or could use the support of the new
glbt_hindus comm, please do send along a link. :)
I tried to order more bunny food, but it's arriving the day we're leaving. D'OH! So if Trina starts to run low on pellets, I'll leave a note that it's probably in the office. We should let the office know.
Gonna update
Full Circle early, on the 13th since I was late last time. It should auto-update Friday for folks. :) I'll do the
fullcirclecomic commentary when we get back. Friday the 13th is just the perfect day to update this page anywhos.
