I don't get to speak much to anyone or that sort of thing
The little Hindi that I know makes me sound weirdly like a cop. "Mera nom Sheree hai. Kya hua?" "My name is Sheree. What happened?" lol! What I should really be learning is how to ask where the bathroom is and such, but I guess my brain just doesn't work that way. "Ap ki bhari kripa hai" I think I have that one down too, which means "You're very kind." "Bakvas!" is "nonsense!", "Billi" is "cat"... yeah, I have a weird learning curve. The bits I know would make a very weird paragraph all strung together, very “Je suis le Président de Burundi!” But hey, I'm learning!
I want to name a snake Tesla now. Love The Prestige. Maybe we'll name the eventual Caulker Cay that. That would rock. Batman is better suited to a black dwarf rabbit anywhos. ;) It's the ears.
I have a confession to make, though I'm loathe to admit it... I'm tempted to get a Myspace account. I do not care at all for Myspace, and I would consider this joining the dark side, but... there's a few reasons I'm tempted anyway. A while back after purpleivey mentioned facebook to me, I got a bit nostalgic and remembering people from way back, friends from when I was a kid. One, I remember her full name so I thought I'd look her up. Didn't find her on facebook, but I did find her on Myspace! Along with another old friend from way back when. Each of them best friends of mine back in elementary/middle school. Both of them wrote to me when I moved to CO but I was in a very dark teenagery "I am putting Virginia behind me!!" place at the time and never responded. One of the letters even asked if I was gay and said she was cool with that if I was, which at the time I just blinked at. I swear, like everyone knew I was queer before I ever did. In any case, both of them have private accounts on Myspace and I can't message them unless I have an account. Bah! Also, I could do with more Blue Gorgon advertising, and that IS what Myspace is originally meant to do... urgh. I dunno. It may be more of a hassle than it's worth, I have a hard enough time keeping up with LJ and the very few forums I frequent. Also, Myspace is evil. But I dunno. Tempted, out of curiousity and need for Earth monies.
And now for something completely different. Spock + Hobbits + 60s = Roflmao <3
