I've always been of the opinion that Religion should break up with Government (gently, cause THERE'S a fight we don't need) and hook up with Science. They have more in common than they realize! Seeking truth, explaining things, helping people... An unpopular pairing, I know, but they're my OTP anyways. I adore them both and sure their relationship has been rocky, but if they'd both just let their guard down, relax, and make with the love we'd all be a lot happier. Things would make more sense and Religion's hardcore fangirls and fanboys would stop slowing Science down. Religion just needs to stop being so defensive and realize that Science is not out to get it, and Science needs to not look down it's nose at Religion cause that's probably where Religion's paranoia is coming from.
