To quote the great Gir... "I love this show." So cute. Of course, Hare Krishnas, really known as ISKCON, don't really have women shave their heads or have everyone dress in orange anymore. I don't claim to know all that much about them as I'm not particularly drawn to that sect (or any specific sect for that matter), and they're a pretty strict group from what I understand anywhos. But I also don't think they're anymore cultish than any other organized religion. But regardless, this is a cute amusing clip that made me laugh! And it also delighted me to see devotees in the comments laughing too. :D I love it!
On an unrelated note, Amarin's car did not pass emissions... argh! I can't say I'm surprised, but still... also, we think the lack of passing is in no small way in part due to the guy running the test gunning it in second gear. The car's transmission is weird and you have to know how to do it right. We tried to explain it to him, but he seemed kind of on another planet. Ugh. So, more adventures with the car. We'll see what we can do with it before we can take the second free test. The plates are up on the first of January so... yeah, back to bus/taxi-ville. I still want a bike, but I value my life too much to ride a bike in Phoenix. Plus, it'd get stolen SO fast. Weee.
I've only been doing yoga twice a day, 10 minutes at a time once before bed and once right when I get up, and wow I'm feeling it already. Sore, but a good kind of sore. I'm also going to start trying this for the insomnia. Karen has a sore throat though and I think I'm getting it too, so it's vitamin C time! I forgot that she'd be surrounded by kids in Tuscon! And while they're cute and sweet, few things will get you sick faster than a swarm of kids when you're not around them all the time! When I was working at a daycare, I'd never been sick so often with random stuff as I was for that whole year. Their little bodies are just immune to stuff that we're not, I guess!
