Yeah, Jasmine rice 4 evah. Yummy! Thai Basil rice sounds good too! I wonder if we have that at our store... I was lucky to spot the Jasmine rice as it is! Man, we really need a steamer. Stupid small kitchen. :P
If there is one, Amarin will know! I've been trying lots of new stuff lately, but the Asian section of our grocery store doesn't have a very vast selection. Any sauce recommendations and/or warnings? I don't do very spicy well, lol!
Black bean paste (as long as it's not chili paste) Oyster sauce Thick soy sauce, dumpling sauce
There's a bunch that we use, but if you do find one and you can't read the label just ask the woman at the desk. They're usually pretty helpful (at least here in FL :). If you don't like hot then stay away from stuff that has Thai chilies in it. There are one of the world's hottest peppers.
I've tried some Thai curry rice with Basil (I love basil!) recently (a box of red curry and a box of green) and though it was really good, the spicy of the curry floored me! I went through SO much water with that meal, lol. I'll watch out for those chilies!
I love soy already, and I'll definitely try the others. Thank you! :)
