Road Trip
Okay, so I'm just over two weeks in to my Road Trip and although I have posted a bit on Facebook, I've been very remiss about posting here. I will say that I have been having an awesome time!!
During my (almost)two weeks in Vancouver I stayed with two beautiful and wonderful friends, Leah and Leanne. We had the BEST time together! Thank you so much, lovely ladies! We saw an eagle's nest at Kitsilano, visited Capilano Suspension Bridge and lake, went out to Bundsen Lake, Fort Langley, Surrey, Burnaby - all over! And I was introduced to the culinary delight - perogies! Although after we had a perogie night I think I'm perogied out for a little while! LOL.
Aside from seeing the sights of this wonderful city, the highlight of my stay in Vancouver was a visit to the set of Supernatural, my favourite TV show. It's something I will never forget! I caught up with Jared (Padalecki)and met Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins. The guys and crew were just wonderful.
I've spent the last couple of days exploring Seattle - the Space Needle, Duck Tour (amazing!), Science Fiction Museum and Experience Music Project (includes a tribute area to Jimi Hendrix), Pike Place Markets and the Underground Tour.
In the morning head south to Ashland, Oregon - home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
