FandomTropolis: Accepting apps.
There's a new game up - fandom_tropolis. Feel free to check out the user info for a basic idea of game premise. The game itself, however, is currently friends-locked until after the first wave of approvals - expected open-to-voyeurs date is 1/9/06.
[edit: A question came up whether we are accepting characters from fandoms FH has marked 'low priority' - and the answer is YES, we are accepting them. We don't have the numbers FH has, so right now, we're not forced to limit any fandoms.]

Welcoming committee for newbies to the game or RP in general - if the app is intimidating, ping someone, please. We're more than happy to help you through it or answer questions.
For those of you familiar with fandomhigh, this game runs on a similar premise, however, the pace is much slower. There's no penalty for missing a class, there's no requirement to own or operate a shop, and there is one main RP public comm instead of two. This is a college town, not a highschool town, so please be aware of that and age your characters appropriately for the game setting.
Right now, we're taking student, teacher, and resident apps, but please be aware that we are going to try to crack down on the amount of teacher turnover that happens - if you don't think you can stick out teaching for the rest of the school year, please don't apply for a teacher, no matter how cool you think the idea is.
This is not Fluffy!Crack RP. This is a dark world setting, and it isn't always Happyland. We have our share of happywacky fun, but there's also violence, drama, angst. If that's not your speed, or rp'ing in that kind of environment would ruin your mood forever, this is not the game for you.
The game is also not competition for FH. They are two totally seperate games that happen to have some character crossover. This game has been in the pipes for awhile, and was put forward now because there was a good jumping off point and enough interest to get it off the ground.
Comments are screened. Go ahead and drop a line if you need/want more information.
