I just discovered, and read, all your Caps stuff at AO3. I like your style! Keep it up! I'm just so grateful to have someone writing hockey players I care about! :)
Also, I really love the way you write both Mike and Nicky--very far from fanon, and even from gen fandom's depiction of them, but much more like how I see them in my head.
Not sure if you're an OTP kinda gal, but if you need inspiration, I'm kind of dying for the backstory on Ovi getting Nicky to Moscow. I think that has hilarious potential. And, you know, hotness potential. Especially since they've already faced both Varly and Sasha. I enjoyed the translated article (can't recall if it was translated from Russian or Swedish) where the interviewer asked Nicky about playing in his first KHL game against Varly and Lokomotiv. They asked if he was bothered that he didn't score on his former teammate. Nick said no, as he expected to take a little bit to get back into rhythm. Then he added, "But Ovi got a goal, so one Capital scored on Varly, so it's all good." Or words to that effect. :D
