• how they can afford to keep the fountain running in February but can't afford wireless in my housing unit

• what my life would have been like if my father had gone ahead and married Big Manny Casmissima's daughter Frances and gone into the trucking business with the Family
• whether the new Jamie still has her job, and whether she still wants it
• how many brain cells I'm losing each day, and whether or not I'm replacing them fast enough
• when they'll keep their promise and put a heater in the bus station
• how much snow would have to fall before the administration would cancel morning classes
