My weekend and work
So like I told you the inlaws visited us this weekend. They live about 650 km away so bf doesn't get to see them a whole lot. Which is the reason I put on my game face and decided to try and make the best of it, even if it wasn't quite the way I planned on spending my weekend. And turned out I wasn't disappointed. They took us out for dinner on Friday night and it was quite alright.
But before I got to go to dinner I had a HELL of a time in the hospital!! GRRR seriously what a hellwole! I was there untill 7 pm writing weekend reports. And to top it all off I got a whole set of 15 brand spanking new patients this morning!! This is SO NOT FUNNY! And instead of them - and by them I mean the powers that be, or the guys that are bosses - appreciating 2 people doing the work of 3-4 people without any kind of continuity....both my colleague and I got scolded!!
The rest of the weekend was spent visiting my granddad - who will turn 86 tomorrow - and parents with bf and the inlaws. And on Sunday - when the inlawsleft - I indulged in some shameless lazing about aaaand...wat ching some really old NPH tv-movies from the 90's! *hee* Granted they are pretty bad for most of the time, but really nice entertainment if you don't really want to do anything.
Oh and I also started watching "Stark raving mad" recommended to me bobbinrob cos, hahaa, more NPH!!! It's quite funny to tide me over till there's anything new to watch. Only one more week till Bones! I am a little antsy to see where they are gonna go with the series though, and I will miss Zach! :(
