Le Mans: Mc Dreamy
I will try and do a couple of Le Mans themed posts this week. The race starts at 3 p.m. and will go on for 24 hours. I think it's safe to say that it's one of the most legendary races on the calendar. Along with the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix and Indianapolis 500.
One of the competitors is Mr. Le Mans himself: Tom Kristensen. Definitely more about him later this week. Today I want to talk about another very interesting driver: Patrick Dempsey. Her's a rookie this year, drving in the GT series for Ferrari. He's driving for Team Seatlle, a team with a mission: you can sponsor them per lap. The money will go to Seattle Children's Hospital to help children with bad hearts. I think I heard Patrick say something about providing operations for children from families who cannot afford it.
For reasons you will all know this touches me to no end and makes me love this guy even more!
