The Band
Dear Mat,
Lets start a band. Call it "Vegan until Dessert." You can play guitar. I think I recruited someone you know to play percussion (glasses filled with water and hit with chopsticks). I have a friend who will play the saw, maybe his musician name could be "cupcake." And for a totally awesome gimmick we print our fliers over recipes for vegan chocolate cheesecake, you know the kind that does not taste anything like cheesecake. After our shows we all go out for dinner and force people to make vegan substitutes for us. Then at dessert, my roommate demands that they put chicken in his fruit salad. Good people, my roommate. We could write love songs. Write songs about girls and puppies and aqua man.

p.s. If you know anyone who plays the slide whistle and wouldn't mind the stage name "Hot Fudge" whose backup band we could call "the Sundaze" they could be our opening act.
