No borders, no limits, oh go ahead, touch the Cornballer...

Finally saw the Kings Speech today and OMG Y'all. It was brilliant.

I saw The Social Network for the first time last week and I'm going to be so upset if The Kings Speech doesn't blow that out of the water at the Golden Globes and Oscars. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Social Network and it had some clever set ups (Aaron Sorkin writes a mean screenplay!) But Kings Speech was just wow.

I love Colin Firth anyway, but for serious, I've never seen him be so awesome in a movie. It was moving and beautiful and uplifting. Favourite film I've seen for ages and ages.

So much so that I'm tempted to see it again in a couple of days. I loved the music, I loved the humour, the drama and the heartfeltness of it all. I don't quite have the words just now. But I know this, it's been ages since I went to movie and when I came out all I wanted to do was talk about it. It was amazing.

So with that excitement in mind, I now have to buckle down and do some applications. Getting sick of applying to law firms for my post-law school job. On the bright side, of the 4 applications I've done so far I've got one call for interview, one email to say they're no longer hiring and no news on the other 2. I'm gonna go with no news is good news for the moment. It's still early doors on those ones. This week I have 5 applications that I want to complete. It's going to be hard work in combo with my job and law school. Not too sure when I'm going to get around to sleeping, but sleep is for the weak.

I was up until 1.30am last night writing an essay for law school that's due on friday; at some point I'll need to review and edit that. So much to do, so little time!
