It's what I do now; I'm a professional hostile witness.

So another busy week is upon me. It's perpetual but awesome.

Had a good weekend (despite the Rangers loss). Had class on saturday which was kind of sucky, but not too painful and then in the afternoon went to Atlantic City. It's a bit of a weird place, but still we had a good time. We took a wander on the Boardwalk, and then went to see Pete Sampras, Marat Safin and Andy Roddick all play each other. Safin beat Sampras, Roddick beat Sampras and then Roddick beat Safin. It was pretty cool to see them all in action!

After the tennis we went and did a spot of slot machine gambling because with our bus ticket we got given $25 worth of slot machine credits. I managed to win $40 from that, so booze was on me! We had a couple of martinis and then headed home. Got back to our apartment at 5am. Painful.

It did mean that yesterday I slept the morning away and then could only muster the enthusiasm to go to Dorians for a beer and the ice hockey match. Still it was nice to have a day of semi-rest. I also kinda almost vaguely started my essay that's due in 10 days. Jane and I took notepads and the question and her laptop to the bar and made a start. Basically I decided what I was going to write and we discussed some of the theories that we need to use. It felt productive but wasn't really!

Anything else new and exciting?! My new flatmate, Sadie, seems really nice. Unfortunately I've hardly been around, but Lucia has been helping her out with meeting other people and stuff. In fairness, Lucia is probably better placed for that anyway - I know hardly any MBs on my own intake, let alone hers!

And I guess that's me for now. I'm going to attempt to bang out some of my essay today. Woop woop.

atlantic city, flatmates, work, tennis
