People knock on closed doors in America! Were the two of you raised on a farm?!

So I have finally finished all of the law applications that I am gonna do. That's 12 big fat applications. Now I just wait... hopefully I will get at least a few interviews out of that, and I only need one training contract. So fingers crossed. Now the waiting begins...

Also part of the waiting process is sorting out everything for New York. I had a slight panic attack a while ago because IT'S FRICKING WELL ONLY 37 DAYS UNTIL I GO TO NEW YORK!!!!!! I've got another phone interview on Monday, though I may have to change that cos of something going on at work. Have to think about that tomorrow and call them.

And worryingly, as much as I love my new job, it keeps me too busy, so time flies and I am rushing through the weeks. It'll be very soon time to go to New York and I am so not mentally prepared for it. In my head it is far far far away, but it's really not.

In other exciting news, Vicky and I met up for lunch today and had some rather tasty sushi for lunch. It was freshly made and the fish was so fresh and tasty. It was 50% off, hence why we were there, and I would be a bit upset if I had to pay £30 for what we had, but at £15 it was an absolute steal!

I promised myself that I was gonna have a quiet August, but from the looks of my diary that is a total and utter lie!

Tomorrow I am going to mingle with the great and good at my company's summer ball. I've got a pretty dress and it should be good. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and chatting to them all in a more relaxed atmosphere. Could be hardwork though, so I don't know how long I'll stay!
