Phew... just about got that Sam quote in the subject line.
So I'm done with this batch of applications. Well... that's not strictly accurate. I still have to upload my answers on to the various firms websites, and then of course re-read everything again. I'm gonna take the day on Saturday to send them all and be done with it. Oh except that I may not be able to, as I am waiting to hear from my referee that he is fine for me to use him still and he is away from work until Monday. Dammit. In that case I'll just have to wait til I hear from him to send them.
And then I will start the next batch. I wanna keep going while I'm on a roll and can be bothered! I need to check out how to apply to the next set. I'll have to look at the questions and word limits and stuff. Hopefully I've now covered just about every combination of questions and so it should be fairly easy to do the next lot. Fingers crossed!
Law applications is all I've been doing all day. I haven't watched any more WW, so I'm still on 100,000 planes (s3 ep12), though I'll be getting on with that in a minute.
In annoying news, I cooked dinner today and burnt my left thumb pretty badly. Not horrifically, but it's still kinda blistered. Our stupid oven gloves have a hole in the thumb for some unknown reason. And so I got burnt through the hole. You'd think a hole in an oven glove would be reason enough to chuck it away. But apparently not. It still lives on.
It doesn't hurt too much, certainly not as bad as the last time I burnt myself. It's in an annoying place though and disrupting my typing. Cos I am avoiding moving and using my thumb, I'm bending my left wrist differently to normal and that is starting to ache.
