by ???? Again I have failed - I had this one down as iconinstereo, but again, no user by that name. Dammit.
Anyway, just a quick update as I'll be getting picked up to go off to Norwich in a short while. I'm intrigued to see what kinda hotel we'll be staying in - it's the place where the conference is being held, so I'm thinking it should be pretty nice. We're heading down there to meet with our boss for dinner, so hopefully nothing goes wrong and we get there on time! My friend Mita is picking me up on the way back from a family thing, so I'm gonna be bundling in the car with her parents as well. We'll drop them off and then head off ourselves.
We're gonna head back pretty early tomorrow, once we're sure everything is all organised for the rest of the day. Mita has another event on Tuesday which she's not really ready for and there's no need for us to stay to the end of the day. Except... our boss kinda wants us to stay and be involved cos it is a public consultation. We're gonna try and get out of it, cos it's gonna be dull and there's other stuff we really should be doing!
I'm supposed to be going to cricket practice tomorrow night, but it'll depend on how I feel when I get back. And also on how the weather's looking!
I've also decided that I am gonna start babysitting again - I tend to enjoy it (except when the kids are being bratty!) and the extra cash would really come in handy.
I've watched a few more episodes of west wing, and I'm really ploughing thru them now. I'm on s4 ep 21 - Commencement. The next bunch are all about Zoe's kidnapping and so I may have to watch multiple together. I remember now that I really liked Will (who replaced Sam) - only trouble is he doesn't last long on senior staff. I think I am gonna make an effort to make Toby or maybe Josh my new favourite!
In other news there is a very annoying fly buzzing around my room. Egad.
