Momentary diversions

So... to amuse you all very shortly, the day after that last post, a guy I knew from high school looked me up on myspace. I hate that site, passionately, but I'm on it for the purpose to let old classmates know I'm still alive and kicking. So this said guy convinces me to go with him and some friends to hang out. That was good. Forgot he was one of the few Christians at my school.

Actually, he was the only other one in my english class that openly said he didn't believe in evolution. It was rather nice not to be the only one. Yes indeed. Berate me how you will, I still think that half that science is flawed. I'd need to see some harder evidence before I put my faith in that rather than in God. I'm tempted to rant, but I shall digress and merely find humor in it.

However, I will puzzle over the mystery that seems to dominate the human mating rituals. Even finding a mate should get more attention from National Geographic than it does. I mean they focus more on birds than they do on humans sometimes. What I want to know is this: why do males insist on liking females who clearly aren't interested in them as potential mates? And what's more, why do the males, who are liked by a female, insist on ignoring her? I asked my own alpha (daddy dearest) what the answer to the second question was, and he replied "for the same reason as the first (question)". Hm.... Go figure.

Over and out.
