Trying to play around and customise my LJ journal.

Not having much luck but at least I managed to upload a new Icon. This is probably really stupid of me, but I can't work out how to do the mood icons. Also I tried to change the theme of the journal, i.e make it more colourful and I've changed my friend page but not this one. Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To change the mood icons go to: Journal > Customize Journal Style and then Mood Themes. There's a drop down box to pick ones that have already been submitted to LJ or you can click edit/create custom mood themes and upload your own (I haven't done that, so not sure the details). Also from here you can change lots of things on your journal (on the left there will be more options to change, like 'text', 'sidebars' etc.

Thanks oz_black_cat, I did get into the customize bit which is where I managed to change the colour. I saw the mood icons but didn't realise I had click on a drop down box.
How is your fic going? I am feeling ashamed of myself today as I drank too much wine last night to try and cheer myself up about my sinus infection, and woke up with a recharged sinus infection and a hangover. Oops...

Eep! A hangover is bad enough without a sinus infection. I have cut out drinking in order to save money for my trip, so it certainly makes my weekends less painful in the daytime :) but maybe less fun too...

My fic is going very sloooooowly. I have bad writers block, which I'm trying to ignore. I plan to get the next chapter out soon though. Fingers crossed.

Yes, hangover and sinus infection is a not a combination that I want to try again ever. Good luck with getting your next chapter out, writers block happens to the best writers or so I hear, part of the process I am sure.
Where are you going on on your trip, if you don't mind me asking?
