This week we're going to be starting on field medicine. You'll be learning about how to administer basic first aid in crisis situations. Your test on this will be a simulated field exercise on administering emergency aid on the field. You will be graded on the following:
1.) Proper diagnosis of situation
2.) Proper administration of aid
3.) Getting your patient to safety
4.) Managing to keep yourself out of harms way
I suggest you all start brushing up on your first aid basics until then. Partnering up with other students and doing drills is advisable as well. Training dummies will be available for check out if you're interested.
Class time will be spent covering the most commonly used curses, jinxes and the proper administration of aid for them. We'll also be going over a few of the more...gruesome ones that one is likely to encounter when it comes to Dark Wizards. I suggest you all bring barf bags.
