The Doctor is busy. Very busy. It looks as though his communicator has been turned on in the corner of the tenant house common room. There are notes posted around this little corner, books stacked, and rolled up maps leaning against the wall. Most of the notes seem to have things of a circular nature posted on them.
Bustling about, ruffling through papers, the Doctor almost seems to have forgotten that he's turned the device on to record, but he finally comes back to it as though having just snapped out of a deep reverie.]
Okay! Afternoon everyone, it's the Doctor. Just doing a bit of research on the city, you know how it is. Mysteries beg to be solved and, let's face it, we've caught ourselves quite an interesting one.
So, I know we're all just itching to get back home, but the thing is, we can't. I can't leave, you can't leave, we're all stuck here for the moment. Let's get that straight, say it with me: We can't leave yet. Have it memorized? Good, moving on.
We can't leave. We're all from different times and places, yeah, I know. Big deal.
The point is, we ought to do something about it.
Meeting, I'm holding one, here in the common room. Thing. You're all invited, and by invited, I mean you all have to come participate.
I don't care if you've disagreements with so-and-so, or if you're anti-social. Take a bath, leave your weapons and tempers in your rooms and get down here.
Scheduled for ahh... [He pulls back and rifles through more paperwork.]
It's Wednesday today, so, a week from now. I've maps here and information about the city proper, and I don't care what your agenda was before you arrived here, because guess what? It doesn't matter here. What matters is staying alive and working together to figure this out.
Exploration, supplies, blah blah, you know the drill, let's all be honest and polite else there will be ... not fortunate consequences, I can assure that.
Anyway, you lot enjoy your week. Don't do anything too ridiculous.
