[A witch? That was different. You got his attention little miss.]

A shikigami? Is it here with you? [He should probably keep an eye on this girl too. So long as she didn't start actually injuring humans, hopefully he wouldn't need to worry about her shikigami- freak or not.]

I am pretty sure you will run into some trouble if you try to hurt the humans here.

Isn't the talking device the shikigami? Anyway, I don't have any of 'em.

Well, if we play danmaku no one's gonna get hurt a whole lot.

No, it appears to be a man-made electronic device, though it doesn't appear to require charging. It's also quite out of place for this time period.

[That was a bit of a relief to here. Kyran is enough trouble.]

"Bullet barrage". Somehow that does not sound like something were people will not get very hurt.

So it's kind of like those cell phone things?

That's just a name for the magical projectiles. Getting hit by one doesn't really hurt that much.

As far as I can tell, yes.

I'm sure shooting people won't earn you favour with anyone either.

Well, technically both parties have to agree to play danmaku before we actually start it.

[Humans killing humans. All was right with the food train.]

I suppose there is nothing wrong with that then.

It's really just a way of resolving matters without resorting to violence, and those who don't follow the rules are swiftly punished. As far as I'm concerned, it's an excellent alternative.

[A bit of an eyebrow raise. It did sound like a good one. He smiles a bit. See, things like this were the reasons he loved humans.]

A sort of violent non-violence. Interesting.

Considering there're so many overpowered people back home, anyone that really went all out would have leveled the entire place.

There's also Reimu, but she's Reimu.

Sounds like a very interesting home.

If you are all overpowered, then none of you are really overpowered, are you?

Yeah! I read in one of Akyu's journals that Gensokyo is the youkai's last refuge from the outside world.

Well, even with all that, there're some people that stand out.

I never imagine youkai would need refuge, unless there are even more terrifying youkai out there.

It was the humans, actually. The outside world was becoming more advanced and would have killed off all of the youkai if they continued to exist among the humans, so they sealed an area off to live in.

[He smiles. Humans never ceased to surprise him.]

Might I ask what your abilities are as a witch?

I can blow things up really well.
