A shikigami? Is it here with you? [He should probably keep an eye on this girl too. So long as she didn't start actually injuring humans, hopefully he wouldn't need to worry about her shikigami- freak or not.]

I am pretty sure you will run into some trouble if you try to hurt the humans here.

No, it appears to be a man-made electronic device, though it doesn't appear to require charging. It's also quite out of place for this time period.

That's just a name for the magical projectiles. Getting hit by one doesn't really hurt that much.

It's really just a way of resolving matters without resorting to violence, and those who don't follow the rules are swiftly punished. As far as I'm concerned, it's an excellent alternative.

Yeah! I read in one of Akyu's journals that Gensokyo is the youkai's last refuge from the outside world.

Well, even with all that, there're some people that stand out.

I never imagine youkai would need refuge, unless there are even more terrifying youkai out there.

It was the humans, actually. The outside world was becoming more advanced and would have killed off all of the youkai if they continued to exist among the humans, so they sealed an area off to live in.
