pelvic thrust for being right
last night i had a customer come into the store. the guy was riding the bike.
well half riding and half walking it. so, i tell the guy that he can't ride the bike around the store. i explain to him the policies and the guy gets really defensive. his argument
if you can speed on the freeway, why can't i break laws here...
wow...
so he gets really stupid making up crap that doesn't relate to this. his other great argument was that he was basically alone over in that area. that didn't matter, but he didn't care. he had to be right. why? because he said so...
so i keep at it because i'm not gonna get fired for letting the guy ride the bike and his friends come over
he's still being an ass so he talkes to him in one of the many asian languages i don't understand
did i mention, this guy was jet lee's clone. looked like him, sounded like him, looked like he was gonna take a swing at me for... i don't know
KEEPING HIS ASS SAFE....
so he tells his friends something, and they had been listening for a little bit but they had stepped back because they didn't want to get invovled. they must have said for the guy to calm down so he got off the bike. i thanked the guy for getting off th bike and he goes on another rant.
this time he says i'm an idiot. yes the guy looking out for your safety and his job is an idiot. i'm thinking of the worst case scenerios and trying to avoid it and i'm the idiot...
then he dumps the bike walks off still saying i'm an idiot and i lost me a customer...
i wasn't trying to sell him shit to begin with. so as he's walking away i go on with my business thinking that he's just gonna leave.
nope
he walks 15 yards and finds someone to complain to. he demands to talk to my manager. when she wouldn't answer the guy he found, i called her myself. well she was busy so the next in line came over. i tell him what happened. he told the guy the exact same thing i had been repeating to him for the last 10 mintues. the thing i've said at least five times to him. but no, i couldn't be right. the manager was right but i was still wrong. i had to be the worst employee.
and in the end, that customer i lost for the store. well he went back, grabbed the bike and went to pay for it.
his final words
"next time keep mouth shut. you too young"
think that coming from jet lee and you've got the reason why i hate asian
and we all lived happily ever after
especially when jackasses gets basically called a hard headed idiot by everyone around him. but in a nice way
