(no subject)
I went to the Strand again today - spent a more leisurely time there and browsed through almost every section. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything I like desperately wanted. I did find a copy of that Twilight parody book Nightlight - it was 50% off but even at that price ($8) it wasn't worth it. :P So I walked out with nothing. Oh schmell.
I walked around the Union Square market. I did stop by the Unemployed Philosopher booth and got me some hilarious notecards - they're cutouts of various philosophers/authors/politicians etc...etc... with STICKERS! the Sigmund Freud one I got has stickers that say things like 'sometimes a cigar is just a cigar' and 'mazel tov!' LOL!!!!
I went grocery shopping too since there's like no food at my sister's apartment. I bought a ramen packet at a Korean grocery store and reading the cooking instructions made me laugh - see below, step #3. I kinda wish it had said '...and enjoy yourself...motherfucker...' (*≧▽≦)
Anyhoo, tomorrow I think I'm going to go see a movie (undecided if I should go see The Princess and the Frog or Up in the Air) and then go stalk Sharkboy. If I don't fall asleep and completely forget, I'll be over at 30 Rock at 1 AM. Does anyone know where exactly they come out from the building? I'm expecting there to be some paps and stans standing around during that time but I'd like to know where I should be doing my stalking also. Anyone know? Anyone? Anyone?
