MoMA pictures! And a few other places!
For some reason, I always thought this painting would be a lot larger. I guess I'm so used to seeing it used as a mural and whatnot that I thought it would like take up an entire wall or something. Hee.

So strange to see Monet at a modern art museum.
But anyways, funny story while I was in this room: I was trying to take a picture of this particular painting but while I was trying to focus and whatnot, some old lady walked into my frame. The old man who was standing next to me was trying to get her attention (I think he was her husband) because he saw I was trying to take a pic. He kept yelling her name but either she was blatantly ignoring him or she just didn't hear him (there were a lot of people in the room so who knows?). Finally he just pulled her out of my way and I took my picture. Hee.
A lot of Picasso stuff here. And a lot of Spanish tourists. Who I wanted to kill. Grrr...stop walking into my pictures, assholes! I don't want your ugly faces next to my cute owlie!

There was no pictures allowed in the Tim Burton exhibit but I did buy the catalog so when I get the time, I'll scan a few things from that for you guys. But seriously though, if you're in NYC, check it out. If you like his movies (or into...IDK...goth-y things), it's definitely worth it.
Lady Gaga's gonna be here in January...totally gonna miss it. :(
