(no subject)
Today was an off day - it's raining AND snowing! Well, anyways, I'm catching up on my picture sharing with you guys. These are from Wednesday and Thursday. Enjoy!
Can you guess where owlie was? If you can believe it, this was at the Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony. It was raining and cold but still, there were so many fricking people. *bleh*
This is as close as I could get to the ceremony. I couldn't even catch a glimpse of the stupid fucking tree. There was a big screen and I did see Rob Thomas (yawn!) perform and then Alicia Keys. After that, I pretty much said fuck this shit and went home. It was pretty disappointing.
Next day, it was a complete 180 - so warm! so sunny! :D Unfortunately, it was the day I decided to go seek out the Dakota (a.k.a. the place where John Lennon died). I was kinda expecting something more...IDK...dramatic but there wasn't anything like that.
There was like nobody here when I went except this one homeless woman. I'm still not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. :|
I wandered around a little bit after visiting Strawberry Fields - ok, it was more like I was trying to find that stupid Alice in Wonderland statue but instead I got horribly lost in Central Park. While I was trying to figure out how to get out of the ramble, I kept thinking to myself that no wonder Law & Order film so much here - you could really hide a body or commit a murder. It didn't help my paranoia that this one weirdo guy kept following me too.

I didn't know Lenny Briscoe had his own theater! Very cool!
I had to cut the day short after seeing the Jerry Orbach theater because owlie had a medical emergency. One of his button eyes was coming loose and I had to get home before he lost it. Poor owlie! He's still recovering. :(
I went to MoMA yesterday and lots of pics are a-coming. If you're in NYC, you could definitely go and see the Tim Burton exhibit. It was so full of awesomesauce.
