With all the possible email programs (yahoo, hotmail, gmail...) and chat programs (aim, irc, icq...), never mind all the websites that you can create your own blog or page...how the hell do people keep in touch?!? I've had the same phone number since I got my first cell phone. I've had this livejournal since I first heard about it...uh...back in 2000? Dang. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm odd. But I'd rather stick to one way of keeping in touch so I'll always know how to get a hold of someone, and vise versa. For people who are constantly changing their cell phone numbers (switching companies or just getting a new phone) and people who follow the newest trends (twitter, facebook, friendster...), how do you really keep hold of everyone you actual care about? Or is that the point?!? People are so busy trying to be seen that they don't really care from who?
Every time I come back to livejournal I always swear I'll do a better job at keeping it up to date, but then I remember that I'm lazy and nobody reads this but me anyway. Well, so what. I'm going to start updating (ha, we'll see) as if this was my own version of twitter...cuz seriously, it pretty much is.
So, last night's thought: A hand towel, if truly used properly, should only end up wet (not dirty).
