Here it is, another day...
I should just start cutting and pasting from old livejournal entries because the theme is pretty much the same. It's getting late, I have work to do, I'm not doing it.
Well, the one positive thing is that I finally update! Woot. :P
I'm trying to be productive in my history class. I really want to do well. No, wait. Strike that. I want to be productive for my history class. I just want to get it over with and have all the information somehow magically be in my head. I don't care about history. Never did. I know the saying, 'learn from the past or be destined to repeat it'....or something like that. I know all history is important to understand. I just need the general idea. I don't care about the minute specifics or names involved. But at the same time, the more I'm learning, the more I start to understand about social references and such. Ugh. If only learning through osmosis was a possibility.
It probably doesn't help that I'm a bit of a snob/perfectionist inside. Shhh, don't tell. I want the good grade so I can pretend that I don't care about the grade. I need the A so I can say, "Duh, did you expect anything else?". Egotistical, maybe. But on a less selfish note, I need the grade to keep my financial aid. Shouldn't that be enough of a motivation to get my work done? *sigh*
