We watched the Emmys last night, and saw a bunch of shows I've never seen win awards. (Note to self: check out 30 Rock? It is apparently the best show evar.) Howie Mandel is not funny, as well as not really being a reality host, but Neil Patrick Harris wins: "Due to Howie Mandel's prattling, our bit has been cut." Of course, they don't show all the awards on the television broadcast, so I went to look up if So You Think You Can Dance had won anything. And sure enough, Wade Robson won an Emmy for the Hummingbird and Flower routine. (Do they really air so late in the season that this year couldn't make it in to the nominations?)
And then I saw something else that made me cackle madly. I'm fucking Matt Damon won for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. I find this hysterical. (Almost as funny as the thought that The Amazing Race has beaten out American Idol for best reality show for SIX years in a row.)
