Gutes Neues Jahr!
I said it in German because my German friend is coming over soon (though unsure when as cannot get hold of her and have had no emails about it!!), and so it's on my mind.
Hope all had lovely Christmases and NYs! Mine was family for Christmas, friends for NY, and has been very nice.
Have now blitzed the sales and got some nice new things, and also cleaned our house (properly cleaned, removing some of the 'we'll deal with it later' stuff that happens when moving house), and cooked enough so that I won't have to cook for the next 2/3 days.
So am braced for going back to work.
All the same, I wish I didn't have to just yet! But that is normal.
I have a job interview hopefully coming up at the end of Jan, Bardcamp before that, and many other good things, so January will be busy and happy!
Alas, my sciatica is coming back again: perhaps I wasn't careful enough of my posture when drunk over Christmas! I shall have to take care, as do *not* want it to ruin Bardcamp for me, sitting bolt upright in pain.
Really looking forward to seeing all the Bardcampers! Can't believe how soon it seems now: before Christmas it seemed an age away!
*bounces off to eat something and lounge with a movie on last night of non-working freedom*
