SCA group in Davis?

Howdy everyone! We have a new member that will be attending Davis in the Fall. He would like to continue participating when he gets there. He'll also be at Coronet this weekend. Is there anyone from there I can introduce him to? He loves baking, cheese making, cooking, jewish anything, gaming, making armour, and practicing. I'd love to get him ( Read more... )

Sir Thomas Logan lives in Sacto, IIRC, and he's a good arty/fighty kinda guy. He's chiv clerk, so his info's in The Page.

Hehehehe. It does make for interesting project nights. So far in addition to learning how to make lamellar people have learned how to make cheeses, breads, help with collecting eggs, feeding chickens and caring for them, dealing w/ ducks, milking goats, making mead and hard cider, and slaughtering animals. I also have some people that show up early to do some gardening when I don't work on Fridays. It's neat because they get to take produce home. On the plus side, it's neat because I get to do a lot of things I did when I was growing up. =D If you're ever down this way let us know and we can totally have a little farm day.
