Disaster Recovery - Flood - Day 10 Update
It's been 10 days since the water infiltrated our unit and the issues keep on piling up.
Today I was in the unit to find an infestation of flies within the first level near the outside doors. I'm not quite sure what has happened since Thursday since we were last there, my only guess is that something (mold perhaps?) has started growing in the wall to have this occur.
I contacted our insurance company (RBC Insurance) and they will be sending a Road Advisor on Tuesday to look about correcting this issue.
With now an infestation it doesn't look like we will be getting back to our home anytime soon.
Well, at least we got a free pizza today because Pizza Pizza was 40 minutes LATE in delivering our food to the hotel room. The guy tried to say that we still had to pay for the pop. We didn't!!!
