Today I found out via email from David Wolff that one of my classmates from Canadian Therapeutic College and friend Ian Campbell was killed on Monday from a motor vehicle driving at a high rate of speed.
He was out watching the airplanes and reading his books on a dead end street on Monday night when a vehicle hit him, killing him instantenously.
Ian was a great guy, he would always lend a hand to help a friend and would do so without any second thought. The man was a great man and would of been a great paramedic.
It's a shame that people are stupid and fly down streets (dead end streets at that) at a high-rate of speed... For what purpose? Although, I do not know any specific information on the motor vehicle collision, I can only speculate that someone travelling on a dead-end highway at a high rate of speed was either A) under the influence of a type of narcotic or B) drag racing but definitely that person was an IDIOT.
Ian Campbell, you were a great friend. My thoughts and condolenses are with the family of Mr. Campbell.
A sad, sad, sad day,
