Such an eventful day
Did a lot happen to me yesterday (26 January 2006)...
First at school I was informed that I had failed a bunch of the skill stations in my PCLB 108 (Patient Care-Practical Skills 1) class and that I had to do a bunch of these remedial things to get a successful completion of the course. Some of the things that I had done incorrectly was questionable at best, some things were down right stupid. Regardless, I have 4 weeks to fix up my deficencies or I will be removed from the program altogheter. This was a dramatic blow to my emotional state.
I then went to work in my dejected state and for once work was actually alright. Jen R and I ended up just talking the entire shift, she was done at 1400hours and I ended up driving her home around 2200hours. It definitely help move the shift along from the usual. Good shift. Although now there will probably be rumors flying around that store.
Then I played some Texas Hold-Em with friends, I came in second place.
