First Chemo treatment is done.
Well, my first chemotherapy treatment is behind me. My heart rate dropped down to 44 at one point but that with the anti-nausea meds they did in my IV before they ever started the chemo drug so it was a minor issue and solved pretty quickly.
This first chemo drug they will be using for the next 6 weeks is the easiest of the drugs I will be using so the side effects may not be too bad. So far, I am just really tired.
They say my hair will fall out anywhere from 7-14 days. I hate the living in dread of that. I'm tempted to just have my cousin go ahead and shave it this wekeend if it has started falling out at that point.
I'm planning on working tomorrow and the rest of the week. We'll see.
