(no subject)
Ah thats not fair, the draw to stay in bed was strong but somehow my work ethics won out & here I am at work.... on time.
It probably doesn't look like it from the outside, sitting in a pub drinking my days away, spinning tales of times past, but indeed I do actually work quiet hard & it has seemingly paid off, that & I have an awesome boss who I'm sure fights hard for me behind the scenes to get what she & I both believe I deserve. Not that I have had an official meeting as yet but I have been told I will be going up from a band 25 to a 25c which means a small pay increase for me. This teamed with the fact that my end of year appraisal should be bringing me a further increase in January makes me very happy. I feel like lately I have been getting some hard earned recognition & work & life in general have been on the up & up.
I'm looking forward to the next few months of parties, festivals & gigs, but I'm also looking forward to March when things will hopefully quiet down some & I can save some money. I'm really happy currently with the way things are heading, I feel like I have culled it down to a great bunch of friends, work is going well, I love our new home & for the first time in a long time I'm starting a relationship with someone I actually really like.
