[She's had her hands behind her back since just after her knock, and now she pulls them forward to reveal a potted tiger lily plant - one of them is in bloom, and the orange and red are just as vibrant as they would've been at home. She looks deadly serious as she presents it - a debt repaid, in her mind.]
I found someone who can make seeds grow into plants in just a few seconds, and with my power added to it, we made this. I kept it for a few days, though, to make sure it wouldn't wilt when it wasn't around someone with that power. But it's real, and it should stay alive if you take care of it.
[ She takes it, she has received the most luxurious flowers while in Camelot but still, this gets more attention and smiles from her than those. It reminds of a dozen of flowers in Gwen's arms, something she picked for her. It symbolizes friendship, and that is more precious than all the luxury in the world. ]
Well -- thank you, you are far too sweet, you lift my spirit so --
[ she lies a warm hand over hers, a gesture of affection she used for Gwen and inclines her head. ]
[The hand over hers startles her a bit, but only for a second. With every passing day, she's getting more used to physical affection and kindness and not reacting so badly.]
It was just a lucky coincidence. Someone mentioned having a plant-based power over the network, and I thought of you saying you'd like to get flowers. It was no trouble. [She can't keep that stern look on her face while being showered with such praise, though; her smile is at once shy, touched and just a little bit embarrassed.]
Thanks. [She steps inside, and now her embarrassment is showing with a vengeance.] I - actually wanted to ask you about something.
[She makes a desperately strangled kind of noise and shrinks up a little.]
Kiss? Well... I don't know... but we slow-danced at the festival, and I liked that It felt sort of -
[Warm, and comfortable, yet terrifying and exciting as well. It felt like part of her waking up and blinking at first daylight. It felt like something she never wanted to end.]
But... I've never had a crush on a boy before. I used to hear the girls at school talk about them, and then all the girls at the Nature School would whisper about Moji, but... I never got it. I thought maybe I just wasn't meant for that kind of thing.
[She interlaces her hands and stares down at them, looking nervous.]
Well, I think you should give it time. All comes in good times, Nakama. For the mean time you can just be here and make more friends. You seem like such a good friend to have.
