(no subject)
Hey all,
Not much to update except def not buying flat at the moment. For some reason no mortgage company will touch it as they insist it is a commercial property even though it is a mix of residential/commercial residents. However this does mean our landlord has agreed us another 6 month lease which means we can stay put for a while and see if things change - way better than original thought that we had to leave by end of April.
Unfortunately I didn't have a very good birthday as Al, myself, my sister and her partner and my dad all got food poisoning from the outbreak at the Ffynnon Wen pub in Thornhill that you may have seen in the Echo - we went for a family meal on the Sunday before my birthday and all ended up sick for days - just my luck! I did have some lovely pressies though including a proper stripper pole, lots of rare Twin Peaks stuff, Porcelain Twins DVD and Book, Agent Provocateur strip poker and a really cool dvd of old burlesque stuff that has some cool 3D scenes! So I can't really complain! Helped Jen celebrate her birthday on the Sat after though which was fun and then got to go to my little nieces first birthday party too - awww!
What's everyone doing over the bank holiday? We're going to see Devilish Presley etc at T.J's tomorrow, to a house party on Sat, chilling at Milgi on Sunday and seeing Allan Carr on Mon - phew! Hope you all have fun xxx
