Helloooo, LJ! Long time no log-in.
Snowdays off work on my birthday are awesome. Probably missing my dad's 50th birthday party tomorrow due to snow and Kitsap county hills is not so nice. I can get them to fetch me from the ferry terminal Thursday if need be, so won't entirely miss out.
I got a new tattoo, and am on day 4 of healing, aka OH THE ITCHINESS! I have no pictures yet, as it's hard to get iphone camera shots of one's own upper arm while holding still and trying to aim while unable to see the preview.
My commute home yesterday was pretty decent, especially in light of all the horror stories I've read. I left at 2:30pm, crawled through a white-out across 520, parked back at home, then took the bus locally for the rest of the night. Hooray for front-wheel drive, ESP, ability to switch over to manual, and heated leather seats. Actually, considering stop and go, speed of traffic, and total commute time, it was better than many a drive home I've had on 520.
Today I'm being lazy, started to sort piles of laundry, will probably just go up the street to the bar with my laptop and a crossword, then maybe a dinner with whatever friends end up wanting to come (or can make it in the snow) to Kristos.
I'm looking at mid-December for maybe getting my internet turned back on at home. Around then, so long as my laptop holds up or I can afford a new computer, I'll fix my pages here and watch LJ a little more often.
