Suze left her house early that morning, leaving her family under the impression that she was taking a trip back to New York to visit old friends. After getting enough distance between herself and her house she closed her eyes and made to hop to Wally's apartment building. She managed to hop herself just outside the door that was labeled the number ( Read more... )

Aaaand here he is, the man himself, the legend... opening the door with a wide grin.

"Hey there, Suze! Come on in!" He stepped aside to let her in the apartment.

She literally had to bit her tongue to hold back the laughter. It wasn't that he looked bad. No, he was rather handsome, but something about the red hair just made her want to laugh. Somehow she managed to hold back the laugh, but there was still a huge grin on her face.

"Hey Wally. Thanks."

Okay, that didn't really escape his notice. He looked a little anxious as he said, "what is it? Is my hair all messed up again? Crap. I can never keep it straight."

"No, no," Suze said waving her hand around a bit. "It's just...odd seeing you all un-super heroey," she replied.

"Oh. Right." Wally cleared his throat. "Well, anyway. You can come in if you want. Unless you want to keep standing awkwardly at the door."

"Hey," Suze said, shooting Wally a mock frown. "I don't stand awkwardly anywhere."

With that she stepped into the apartment and looked around. It was a pretty nice place, but it was quite obvious that it was bachelor pad. She had to admit the TV was pretty sweet.

Wally smirked. "My mistake." As Suze looked around, he headed over to the kitchen. "Can I get you anything to drink, or do you want to head out? I just have to grab a couple of things, but I can be ready to go in. Well. Whenever."

"Some water would be good," Suze said. She was feeling a little thirsty and she knew the trip to Disney would only make that worse.

((Guess whaaaaaaaaat...accepted!))

"Water it is!" Wally grabbed a glass and filled with ice and tap water, handing it over to Suze.

"Feel free to keep looking around if you want, I'm just going to do my whooshy thing and get my stuff together. Don't freak out or anything."

((fjsdklfsd WOHOOOOOOO!!!))

"Me? Freak out? Never," Suze smirked and took a gulp of water. After, she walked around a bit, checking things out here and there. For a guy living on his own it wasn't all that bad. Not too messy at all. But then again, clean up probably only took him two seconds at the most.

Wally grinned and started zipping around, gathering stuff together in a backpack.

Mostly it was snacks, water, money, and a camera. He also packed a guide to Disneyland that he had picked up and flipped through a bit.

When he had finished (it took him about five seconds), he ran up behind Suze and poked her.

Okay, he surprised her. She jumped in shock and spun around on reflex. She was glaring, but only out of natural response. When she saw it was Wally she just rolled her eyes.

"Oh, ha ha."

"Gotcha." He grinned and handed over the guide book. "I marked a few things, tell me what you think."

Suze frowned, but took the book. She spotted right away a few of the attractions were circled in red. She stopped at one, and frowned even more.

"Small World? You're still going on about that?"

Wally rolled his eyes. "Come on. It's a classic. You just can't have the whole, you know, Disney experience without it!"

Suze thought about this for a moment, then looked up from the book and stared hard at Wally. "Do you have the cookies?" she asked, straight faced.
