Christine sat --good posture, legs crossed, chin up-- next to the man who disgusted her (or so she convinced herself). Though she was in Tony Stark's limousine, there was indifference about the entire situation. She knew where she was headed, she knew what she was doing, she knew who she was headed and doing these things with, yet nothing felt wrong. It is still Tony Stark so there is definitely nothing that does feel right about it all, which gives it a nice indifferent balance.
"Champagne?" Stark held the glass between his fingers. There was a calm wave within the sparkly beverage due to any movement from the uneven road.
"Thank you," Christine accepted before allowing herself a small sip, her eyes never leaving his own which were also glued to hers. A soft hint of lust existed in those deep browns. All of it somehow steered away from making the place she was in feel dirty, which gave her a sense of comfort.
"I have to say, I'm really looking forward to seeing the inside of where Tony Stark resides."
"Is that what you're looking forward to seeing tonight?" He casually asked. There was something smooth about the way he said things, the way he carried himself. Christine wore a hard smirk. One which told a lie even to herself. It very well could have been a gentle smile, but she needed to wear a mask that showed the world and her reflection that she's only there to fulfill a few human wants. Maybe even a story.
Silly, Christine, whispered her subconscious. A story is the last thing on your mind right now.
