jobby job stuff
So I find it to be incredibly encouraging that Chuck (Toledo, market #87) thinks I would stand a decent chance at getting hired to be the Production Director in Tallahassee, FL (market #164), or if I wanted something similar I could go for Asst. Creative services in Greensboro (no thanks). So, I've got an interview with him tomorrow at 10am my time, but I imagine a lot of our time will consist of, "so where do you think I fit with my experience and my demo?"
There's a position open in Phoenix (market #15) as Asst. Production, and I imagine that is probably more along the lines of what I'm looking for. Bigger city, and to be given a task that may be a bit more challenging and more will be expected of me. Hopefully, with more pay to compensate for that experience and the expectations. We'll see... Phoenix wants a 5 minute demo, which seems a bit odd since industry standard is about half that length. I'm sure I can put together something that long, just seems that any good producer should have you convinced in the first 30 seconds.
