You don't even know how much better I feel about myself now that I've gotten a haircut. Of course, I could have done without some of the stylist's attitude: "Um, do you cut your own hair? Because this looks really uneven."
"I don't understand why you've got all these short pieces. You said you were growing it out."
The answer to question 1 is "No. I just have been so broke I haven't been able to afford to go to the salon in 3+ months. So the cool 'do my stylist in Philly gave me is all kinds of nastily grown out and makes me look like a hot mess."
