So I finally have decided to write a review of my game-of-the-moment: Suikoden 5 (okay, okay, so technically, I have about ten games of the moment, but what can I say, I like to multi-task ( Read more... )

Heh, oh man, I don't have the time either. That's why it usually takes me forever and ever and ever to beat a game, unless I really get motivated (which is happening with Suikoden 5, because sadly, I have to return it soon to my brother's friend:)). I spent a year and a half to beat Harvest Moon...

DS RPGs to reccomend..hmm. There aren't a whole ton yet, actually. Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, but hahaha, Pokemon Pearl is actually really fun-it's the best Pokemon game yet, and really easy to get into. The amount of things to do in the game is crazy!

Animal Crossing is ridiculously fun, too, though it's different than your traditional RPG. Basically, you move into this village that you get to customize through buying new furniture for your house, planting trees, finding fossils, fishing, getting new people to move in, etc. This isn't some half-assed version of the Sims, I promise. It's surprisingly deep and so addictive.

Your village and the animals you get in it are chosen randomly, so when you link up through wi-fi with other people, you can have animals from their village move to yours, and even go to visit their village.
It's ideal if you don't have tons of time, as you can save whenever.

FF3 isn't bad, though it doesn't have much of a plot and is pretty straightforward. The job classes and battling provide tons of customization, though, and the graphics are beautiful.:)

Etrian Odyssey is another really fun rpg. It has the nicest graphics of all the RPGS I have played on the DS, but it's more of a dungeon crawler-you have to make the map and explore alot. Oh, and it's really hard.

Those are all the ones I can think up off the top of my head.
If you are willing to wait a bit though, FFXII Revenant Wings is going to be an rpg/strategy game that looks like it is shaping up to be awesome.
Also, Zelda DS comes out around the same time...

And if you want an older game that is strategy and will play on your DS, I reccomend Final Fantasy Tactics for Gameboy Advance. I've only begun to play and I can't stop-it is awesome!

Oh, I love AoE! But eventually, I agree, it does get old. I haven't played in some time...I also really like Warhammer, and Civilization...There just isn't anything of that level out for the DS in terms of strategy at all. But big surprise, there.:)
