short post
Nothing much to report...I've been super busy with school and my beloved NPR affiliate. I'm currently trying to purchase a plane ticket to NYC for September 22 to see Miss Stacy Amma Osei-Kuffour. The one thing that's holding me back slightly (besides money) is that I have a test that same day. Hopefully I can re-schedule the exam otherwise I'll have to go another weekend.
I went to this journalism conference yesterday honoring KBIA. It was a great experience. I had the opportunity to mingle with some of the journalism faculty at MU, and afterwards took a tour of our NBC station here in Columbia. I am probably the only journalism major at my age who has never seen KOMU TV-8, but I guess now I can say that I've seen the bright lights and robotic cameras of Mid-Missouri's most successful TV station. Woohoo. Sorry for such a sucky post. I'll leave a much better post next time...I promise.
