It's that time again....
Update time!
I've noticed that my updates have been sparse at best recently, so I thought a post was in order.
Things are going a lot better. My mom is doing good and is recovering quite well from the surgery (although she's still in a lot of pain). I applied to be a dealer at the casino and got the job, so as of last week, I officially am a Blackjack dealer! The job should be super fun and it pays extremely well (not to mention you get a 20 minute paid break for every hour worked), so I'm quite pumped about that!
I'm still on strike with the acting, but my agent got me an audition for a principal role in a movie that is shooting here in the summer. It's a smaller movie (it will be aired at many major film festivals but I have my doubts as to whether it will make theatres) but the pay would be great and just having some actual lines in a movie would be wonderful! The director of the movie was recently on Oprah and worked on The Nightmare Before Christmas with Tim Burton, so it will definitely have at least some cred. I just really hope I don't botch this audition like I did the Renegadepress one... I'm still hurting from that. I seriously will not be surprised if I never get another audition with that casting director!
