In a way, I'm glad you didn't - I think the things they want people to know about are what they say/show in interviews, whether TV, radio or magazines. It's too much to expect them to show themselves completely and if you had shown that, it's just not... right? Idk.
I do understand your position, and I have to apologize because I wrote that comment after coming home from a tiring day so it probably didn't sound as nice as I would have wanted it to, but you do have to remember what it was like for you before you got closer to them. Fans will always be fans and it's not just this fandom, because honestly, who wouldn't want to know all there is to know about their idols? I think that plays a big role in the fans you're talking about acting like that - they're like that because of how important the idols are in their lives. As a fan, I only hope I'm not like that and I'd like to believe I'm not like that, but still, people always want to be on top of things, and in this case, people who know nothing about KFC's chickens will think that they do based on very little information. Regardless, your position is a tough one to be in since you know much more than the rest and you can't even tell them why they're wrong, so good luck on dealing with that. :)
