JUMP Support Comments, Special TV Program Appearance

May 03, 2008 02:42

As mentioned when Dreams Come True was announced as the title for their 2nd single, Hey!Say!JUMP will be the Special Supporters for the 2008 Beijing Olympics Volleyball Final Preliminary for Japan.
Again, Sakurai Sho from Arashi joins them, just like during the World Cup Volleyball tourney.

In the official site, all 10 JUMP members each had a 1 line 'support comment' for the this time's Team Japan

Yuuto: "We didn't make it in the last World Cup so this time we have to try hard and grip it to catch the ticket to Beijing"
Ryosuke: "The first time I saw World Cup Volleyball live, it left me an impression. Now I believe that in a match we shall fight hard until the very end. The All-Japan team, please do your best!"
Chinen: "I'll do my best to support all the men and women so you will catch a ticket to Beijing all together!"
Ryutaro: "I want to support you as hard as I can because all of Japan wants you to be the top"
Keito: "Combine everyone's power and the hall can become one!"

Hikaru: "Manager Ueda, please make it after 16 years. And Manager Yanamoto, I'd love to see the same thing from 4 years ago. Thank you in advance!"
Inoo: "I want you to show the victory pose that you showed Captain Ogino back in the World Cup once again. The All-Japan boys please do your best!"
Takaki: "Captain Takeshita said that he can pull his team to show a strong fighting spirit, and that moves me to want Hey!Say!JUMP to keep following too!"
Daiki: "Thank you for letting us take this huge part as special supporter, Fuji TV and TBS. We'll support with our full effort!"
Yabu: "We, Hey!Say!JUMP, will want to do our best until the very end, just like the All-Japan team. Thank you!"

Take note for most lines they're not direct literal translations but more of what I think they meant. Also take note it's almost 3am and I'm really sleepy so I rushed through it - read it once and then translated it off my mind.
If I translated wrong please correct me - my reading ain't exactly the best either.

Also, just announced on Johnny's Net, Hey!Say!JUMP will be on a special TV program: "GO to Beijing! 100% Support Declaration for Japan's Volleyball - Special Pre-Olympics Final Preliminary Program" (北京へGO!ニッポンバレー100%応援宣言~オリンピック最終予選事前特別番組). It'll be recorded on the 11th of May.

Meanwhile, in other very important news:

JUMP's new color scheme seems to be this blue colour, after having sticked to red since their debut. This is of course reflected in the cover of Dreams Come True - this same colour is used as the colour for the title.
