Ryu rocks in HxS today~
Sorry for my failure of thinking of a nice title xD
While the subject of if the covers were divided by popularity or not is still up to debate, today (like, 2 hours ago :p) I watched Showa x Heisei and boy, was it a nice stream. I was able to actually ENJOY the show this time, you know - no buffering lags, no artifacts, no pauses, no disconnections. My recording of it is a little different though. I've a tough time trying to convert it out of the original streaming wmv since it doesn't have a proper index, but somehow I actually manage to anyway, except that there are still some problems with the conversation causing artifacts. Oh well. I would wanna try and fix everything and all but I've got to get back to my studies - IB exams are starting on May 5th (Less than 2 weeks left!)
Anyway, there are a 2 little clips and several screenshots I took from the episode today, and they're pretty low quality, but still, it's awesome stuff xD
So here's a couple of preview caps, and then hit the cut for the full thing, or the second cut to jump directly to the streaming video/downloads!
Okay, so Ryu was awesome in today's Showa x Heisei Battle~
First was when he tried to act out a cool "Nani Mitendayo?" (What are you looking at) like how the guest does it. Ryosuke did okay (but sounds too much like YamaP to me o.O) but Ryu's was just way too cute xD
Instead of being scared or threatened as one would if a huge yakuza guy asks you that, I would so answer "Omae!" (You!) to Ryu xD
(By the way, I thought Ryosuke looked alot like a begging puppy in this shot)
Next, in the game part where you guess the popular ones of the topic based on surveys of the public of Showa/Heisei era, the Heisei team answered "Sailormoon". When the guest asks Ryutaro if he watches it, he said "Chotto dake" (Just a little bit) xD Then he tries to act as if he doesn't know much when asked about the characters ... but in the end blurbs out that "there was this cat, yeah?" xD Only to get teased that he had been watching it xD
But it's this that is awesome: How Ryu laughed so happily!
There's also the big blunder that Ryu made in the section where you guess the song and the lyrics of the song based on the background music played.
It was actually Otsuka Ai's Sakurenbo, and with barely any time left, Ryu rushed up to the mic and proceeded to sing..... TOKIO's Ahita wo Mezashite! xD
Of course Ryosuke and Yuuto who realised that it wasn't that song were laughing their ass off behind Ryutaro xD They even teased Ryutaro later xD
It had a similar tempo and the lyrics actually fitted sorta well! xD Nice try bro!
And then Ryu after thinking about it~
And finally when he was praised xD
And finally, the live stage was Ultra Music Power (Who wouldve guessed!?) - probably coincided to promote JUMP's DVD release, so it was a remix of UMP with DVD footages thrown in.
I probably already know what will be my favourite scenes from the DVD:

It was this song from Otsuka Ai titled Sakurenbo but Ryu sung the lyrics of TOKIO's Ashita wo Mezashite on it xD

Live Stage 0427 - Ultra Music Power
The second clip is the Ultra Music Power Live Stage. The song was remixed with the ballad version in the front, then the fast version accompanied with footages from the JUMP DVD to be released on April 30th.

Again this is from the part of the show where you guess the song and sing the lyrics to the tune being played... (サビをきかせて中トロクイズ)
Ryosuke guessed it correctly and sung the chorus of SMAP's Sekai ni Hitotsu Dake no Hana while Yuuto and Ryutaro does the dance moves as well
