M and I had a whirlwind weekend where our broker pinged us with a "this looks interesting" for a new listing. We agreed that it looked like everything we wanted and asked when we could go see it. When we saw it someone else already had an offer in.
We liked it, we put in an offer, there was some counter offering and bidding adventures, and we ended Sunday with an accepted offer and a whole bunch of stuff to get done this week.
Its crazy and wild and scary and exciting and I'm still mostly shell shocked.
The house itself is good for us, lots of woodwork, a big kitchen that can either be eat in or we can raise one of the light fixtures and add more working space. There's a fully cedar lined closet for storing important fabric things (or, you know, yarn) It has a sun room. It gets nice, pretty light even in March. It's near a park with a little lake with ducks and walking paths. Its within my preferred radius of a T stop.
2012, the year M and K decided to become instant adults (just add water)
